Template: Assessment Tool Mapping Matrix

Effective mapping is an ideal way to demonstrate how your RTO is delivering training and assessment that meets the requirements contained in the Training Package and the compliance requirements from the 2025 Outcome Standards for RTOs. 
 
The National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Outcome Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations) Instrument 2025 (Outcome Standards) require that RTOs demonstrate:
(1.1.2a) training is consistent with the requirements of the training product
(1.3.2a) assessment is consistent with the requirements of the training product
 
This template gives you an easy-to-use reference framework for mapping assessment tools against a unit of competency. It can also be used to document, where in the learning materials, necessary training content has been included.
