Pre-use or In-use
Pulse Check
Our qualified VET assessment experts will hold a lens over your assessment tool to conduct a targeted spot check.
The review will check vital parts of your assessment tool and rate whether it is likely to collect sufficient, valid evidence against unit requirements.
For Pulse Checks on RPL Kits, you'll get feedback on whether fundamental components are included.
Summary Reports
Pinpoint Risk
You'll get a summary report that details:

What was reviewed in the targeted spot check

-
Any vital signs indicating increased exposure to risk
-
Based on the pulse check, where you need to focus attention

Think you might need more than a Pulse Check?
Pulse Checks are great for summary feedback on the tool's potential coverage of unit requirements, however they aren't the same comprehensive review, analysis and reporting as a pre-use validation.
Pulse Checks are allocated 1-hour of VET expert time and target common areas of potential risk. You get a summary indicator report on the issues.
A pre-use validation exercise can take anywhere from 3 - 9 hours, depending on the size of the unit of competency, the level of detail and complexity in the assessment, and number of issues to report.
If you'd prefer to book a pre-use validation activity, please head over to the 'Book a Pre-use Validation' page.
